For part one, my group decided to go with the word Accretion. The definition of the word is as stated; the process of growth or increase, typically by the gradual accumulation of additional layers or matter.
So for my piece I decided to take a bunch of photos that I had taken over the summer of me and my family wake surfing, and layer them all together with 10% opacity. I wanted to do this because I take a lot of photos but most of them end up just sitting on an SD card or my computer, while only a select few really ever get passed around. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to actually use these photos for a project and actually give them some use.
For part 2, we just simply showed two pieces of work that we had made so far in our DMA journey. The two pieces I decided to pick were pieces that I felt showcased where I started and what I am doing now. The low poly piece was done back in 2016 and that piece reminds me of the start to this process through art. The logo is something that I did much more recently and more of the professional side to the art I have been doing. For the logo I actaully got to work with a client and go back and fourth until they got exactly what they wanted.
