The first section of this assignment was the creation of the stamp I used at the specific locations later on in this project.
These pictures show the creation of the stamp in Fusion 360. For my stamp I did a a symbol that is my intials, Z-T-M, all on top of each other. I wanted to use this because it looks pretty abstract when in this form, but in the literal sense it symbolizes me in the most basic way possible.
This part is the creation of the virtual sign that I made for the other part of the project. I decided to do a sign in a place that is in Santa Cruz, my hometown, and the sign I hope reflects that on its own.
These pictures show the prints that I made with my stamp, as well as the pictures of my stamp prints in three locations that my classmates pinned. This part of the assignment felt pretty weird but it is interesting to think how long the stamp prints will actually stay on the location.
The first location is 3259 Stevens Creek Blvd.
The second location is Target on Coleman Ave.
The last location is the Grad apartment building right off campus.
This is the location of the virtual sign in Santa Cruz. I decided to do my sign at the wharf in Santa Cruz for a few reasons. Not only did I work my first job on this wharf, but this is a place I visit often as a local. I also picked this spot because of how big of a tourist draw the wharf and the area surrounding area is.
